Sean payne
Senior Pastor
Sean was born and raised in Toccoa, Ga. Sean is a graduate of Toccoa Falls College with a Bachelors degree in Youth Ministry and a minor in Biblical Studies. He began serving as the Associate Pastor at Cross Roads Baptist Church in 2013 and was called to be the Senior Pastor in 2015. He is married to Mollie Payne, a teacher at North Hart Elementary and the HCHS Competition Cheerleading Coach. Sean and Mollie have three children and are both eager to see what God has in store at Cross Roads Baptist Church!
Danny Merce
Worship/Connections Pastor
Danny was born in New Jersey and spent most of his childhood in Virginia Beach. He has loved music since he was little and taught himself how to play. At the age of 20 he moved to Atlanta looking to invest in music. At 21 he found Athens Georgia and met his future wife where they worked at. Suzanne grew up in Hartwell and teaches at Stephens County Middle School. They have two children; Ashlyn and Jonah who are very excited that the Lord has led us to Cross Roads Baptist Church.
Cam Martin
Family Pastor
Cam is a local of Hartwell, GA. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelors degree in Communication Studies and Religion. He enjoys going on trips and making connections with our youth. Cam also works with the children’s ministry, creating a safe and fun environment for our kids. He is excited to see what God will do at Cross Roads in the future and what he has already done here in people’s lives.
SHay Wallace
Administrative Assistant
Shay Wallace was raised in Maysville, GA. Shay is a graduate of the University of Georgia with a Bachelors degree in Political Science. She began serving at Cross Roads Baptist Church in 2019. She is married to Caleb Wallace, a lineman at Georgia Power. Shay and Caleb have two sons, Rhett and Canaan. Shay has a heart for people (especially children), and volunteers in the nursery and during VBS. Shay is happy to be here to serve the staff, church members, and community of Cross Roads!
Larry & Shirley Kaiser
Custodians
Larry and Shirley Kaiser work hard throughout the week to ensure that our facilities are clean and sanitary. They both love the church and have a heart for ministry. Larry was ordained as a pastor at CRBC in 2016 and he is always eager to fill the pulpit when needed. Larry is a valuable member of our team here at CRBC and he is excited about what God is doing in our church!
